Snow in Manchester

Last week all of a sudden we had a little bit of snow, so we decided to outbrave the frosty temperatures, grabbed a camera and went to a park to shoot in “winter wonderland”. When I went to Ukraine last year and after a few days of shockingly low temperature ( one day the temperature sank to 20 degrees below zero) was forced to invest in some fashionable winter warmers to stay snug in the frost I could not even imagine that my Russian furs would come in handy in England. This Fox Fur gilet was my parents’ Christmas gift. I know I will probably get a lot of hate messaging because of that but I came from one of the coldest countries in the world where in winter temperatures can drop to -25 so fur clothes are the only salvation if you don’t want to freeze to death:).
This elegant yet funky soft fur gilet is not only extremely warm but is also an ultimate layering tool: layer your gilet over your leather jacket as I did when I was traveling across the Ukraine ( you can check out the blog post HERE )  to give an illusion of a fur jacket with an on-trend leather sleeve detail. Practical and super stylish! These skinnies I got from Zara on sale for just £9 – fantastic multi-seasonal investment as I can also wear them with heels, blazers and jumpers. These Holy Grail leather boots I found in Zara on sale last year. Being a proud owner of numerous Zara boots I have admit that this particular model I am really obsessed with because of its ability to turn into a glamorous leather version of Hunters when it’s raining or snowing, they are just perfect to survive in foul weather with its low heel height, great traction, cool hardware and a comfortable rounded toe. Next is my all time favourite Coca-Cola slogan jumper from Primark. Since Vivienne Westwood’s iconic God Save The Queen  slogan jumper was created in the late 70’s the trend underwent many transformations throughout the decades but last year has officially celebrated its revival when both Haute couture and high street retailers got obsessed with all sort of slogans. Essentially, it’s  a lazy dressing – you put a jumper on and… save hours of your precious blogger’s time by not going through hundreds of your chunky necklaces as you would undoubtedly do with a plain jumper, the words are your accessories, no jewellery required! But of course not in my case as I love dressing up and adding necklaces and bracelets to any jumpers:) You should be careful though with its size and colour so it “does not steal the whole show”. As you can see, my “Ebay find” neckless compliments my bright red jumper and goes perfectly with my outfit. Well, I’m hoping for more snow this weekend to take more stylish looks for you all
