EVENT: TGIFridays new Meet Your Match menu launch

Last week I was invited to visit our TGI Friday at Royal Exchange to sample a brand new menu – their biggest update since 2007 under the banner of “Meet Your Match”. We were greeted by a very skilful bartender who made me my favourite “Mojito” with strawberry in seconds – great start! The idea behind the new menu is to find your ” perfect match”amongst the new delicious dishes that range from the hot, crispy and cheesy Double Layered Nachos to the sweet and sticky barbecued pork belly smothered in Jack Daniel’s glaze, Bucket of Bones comprising tender slow-cooked pork ribs and chicken wings tossed in Jack Daniel’s glaze, toasted sesame seeds and chilli flakes – an incredibly diverse menu selection which will appeal to everybody’s taste!

Another new addition to the menu was very impressive new Warrior Burger featuring two 7oz burgers piled high with mozzarella fingers, Colby cheese, crispy bacon, American cheese, caramelised onions and Fridays mayo, served with crispy fries and onion rings.

My perfect match was new Tostada Stacks, crispy flour tortillas packed with melted cheese, Cajun-spiced rice, jalapeños, chillies and garlic vegetables, topped with pico de gallo, Southwest sour cream and Fridays Spicy Guacamole. Absolutely delicious and 100% vegetarian!

All in all, I had a great night full of tasty food and yummy drinks enjoyed in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful, our glasses were never empty and they knew the cocktail menu off by heart. I will definitely go back to TGI Fridays soon

It is really helpful to do corporate event planning outside of a regular team meeting, plan a special training session. Though this will require extra work to find a good time and location that is suitable for such activities.
