Hello my lovely readers, the weather outside is absolutely fantastic, it seems like spring is finally here! And the best way to celebrate warmer days is by welcoming new Spring/ Summer 2017 collection by British makeup and skin-care brand Pixi by Petra
I was one of the few lucky bloggers to meet up with Pixi Beauty global makeup artist, Amanda Bell to discuss the new SS17 collection. Our meeting was set up in a luxury hotel Abode Manchester in a unique and contemporary suite Johnny Cash ( named after a famous American singer-songwriter and actor ) where Amanda showcased the products from the new Pixi by Petra collection —a four-part limited edition line created by four major beauty influencers – Caroline Hirons, Judy Travis, Maryam Maquillage, and Aspyn Ovard.
Pixi By Petra is one of rare brands who manages to harmonically combine British style and quality with affordability and eco friendliness offering paraben free & not tested on animals products. I’ve personally found them both impeccably designed and extremely gentle and hydrating on my skin.
So let’t talk about the first product Double Clense created by skincare expert and blogger Caroline Hirons : it’s a 2 in 1 evening cleanser containing a solid cleansing oil on one side and a cleansing cream on the other. The solid cleansing oil claims to ‘easily break down and remove dirt, makeup and sunscreen’, while the cleansing balm ‘cleanses and conditions to prep skin for the next steps in your regimen’.
Next product is Glow-Y Powder created by Aspyn Ovard, a lifestyle blogger and vlogger. I must admit I absolutely love these highlighting powders due to very balanced amount of shimmer in them, you can easily wear them in the day or build up the coverage by gently applying more of this products for a night out glowing look. Because the shimmer is light and delicate, your make up look will have a flawless finish.
Now it’s time to talk about lips! What could be better then a lip pallet with all the shades that you’ll need? Created by an American beauty Youtuber Judy Travis , ItsLipTime palette consists of 12 creamy lip shades from nudes to berry colours, all being very wearable and super flattering on everyone. You can even mix the colours to make a personilised lipstick shade just for you! (Seriously, I can’t wait to try it out)
