Hey my fashionistas! This even took place two weeks ago, straight after I came back from my Greek getaway so I literally had less than one day to unpack my suitcases and transform from bohemian holiday chic to ultra glamorous city fashionista. From 7th to 9th of July British Style Collective overtook Liverpool by storm! These were unforgettable three days of glamor, fashion, music and beauty, spectacular fashion shows at Alcatel Arena and extremely inspiring Q&A and masterclasses from the biggest names in fashion. St. George Hall was a perfect location for Inside Fashion Talks and discussions combining city’s historical heritage and modern versatility, this is where I listened to Glamour’s editor-in-chief Jo Elvin talking about her busy life “Inside the Magazine”. One of my favourite designers and fellow Mancunian Henry Holland talked shared his views on the importance of influencers and excitement of discovering new designers via Instagram. I was lucky ( and very proud 😉 to participate in the panel and discuss new summer trends with fellow bloggers. ( Sabina, Pingkan , Steph and Abigail ) One of the event’s main highlight was meeting Alexander McQueen’s nephew Gary James McQueen who showcased his debut collection of made-to-order silk scarves and presented a beautiful artistic installation featuring his iconic ‘Chrome Skull’ artwork. It was an incredible experience and I would definitely advise marking 13-18 July in your next year diary, the dates when British Style Collective will come back, I already can’t wait! X
