November Favourites

December is here and before we start getting ultra busy with pre-Christmas preparations, I decided to write my “November favourites ” blog post since I accumulated quite a lot of items during November and thought I’d share them with you all.

First on my list is oversized jumpers which I am hopelessly obsessed with, we saw a lot of cocoon-like knits popped up in the Pre-Fall collections of Balenciaga, Victoria Beckham, Marc Jacobs just to name a few.  Oversized jumpers are a genius idea, they are comfy, cozy and oh-so-versatile, I layered my soft sweater from Zara with long ( also oversized ) t-shirt and it looks stunning . Although you might think super big jumpers will make you look heavier, they can actually be flattering and energetic statement pieces, if styled correctly . In my case I went for a rock chick vibe combining my leather looking leggings , sunnies and over the shoulder bag. Another super soft, fail-safe look is the maxi dress/huge sweater combo: layer a cashmere pullover over a floaty dress or a skirt, and dramatic drop earrings.

On the bag front I have a brand new baby . It’s Karl Lagerfeld  bag from mybag.com.  It was on my wish list for ages and I still can’t believe I finally own this Karl’s signature classic shoulder bag in a soft black calf leather with his logo plaque on the front. Due to it’s versatility I can style this little beauty in so many different ways and wear it to literally any occasion.

Another november favourite is my Daniel Wellington  Sheffield watch in classic 40mm that I’ve been wearing non-stop. It came with interchangable strap  in a beautiful festive box with red ribbon – perfect Christmas present!  Since I stumbled across Daniel Wellington Instagram page 2 years ago I always wanted to own one. Superbly well made, minimal and sophisticated this watch is an absolute must-have for your wardrobe and the ultimate gift for your loved ones this upcoming holiday season. And last but not least favourite for November is my new fragrance by new kid on the block Floral Street available exclusively at Harvey Nichols. I was lucky enough to meet the CEO and highly influential and respected figure in beauty business Michelle Feeney, she was a driving force behind such brands as St. Tropez, Mac, Crème de la Mer, just to name a few. Floral Street debuted with eight youth-oriented fragrances developed by famous perfumer Jerome Epinette ( best know for creating Byredo &  Atelier ) I was on the hunt for a new wintery scent and after sampling all eight perfumes I opted for “Black Lotus” ( that was a tough choice as all of them smell amazing!) This scent is a perfect fusion of floral (rose) and spice (red peppercorn and saffron) notes.  When you inhale it you can imagine a classic English rose dressed in a black leather jacket.  I think I finally found my specific scent that continues to resonate with my inner rock chick style.  You can find Floral Street perfumes on the website  , in flagship store on King Street in London and exclusively at Harvey Nichols   X
