In my today’s post I want to talk about my most worn accessory of this winter : a beret. Thanks to Dior’s game-changing new creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, the beret is officially back in fashion favour. I find that Beret works with pretty much all styles , whether it’s feminine, edgy, or bohemian. Another reason why I love berets is that they are very versatile, you can wear one low on the back of your crown like your favorite beanie or fluffed up on top of your head adding an individual touch to your outfit
Don’t be afraid to experiment with different looks, proportions, and textures. Our British high street is full of both classic and flamboyant ones so you will have plenty of choice ( a good example is that popular pearls beret from Topshop )
You can also add a pop of colour to your outfit with berets that come in different colours . From red and teal to maroon and camel, the colored beret will make any outfit look more fun and playful. There’s no need to purchase a new wardrobe to match your hat, it will easily work with most of your outfits
I pared mine with my new fur jacket from Zara , Kenzo Jumper, Monki boots and Vivienne Westwood bag and of course my no.1 accessory – sunglasses by Taylor Morris .
