How to style a Russian Scarf


Today I want to introduce you to a Russian scarf company Florussie  HERE  and clothing online boutique Elite99 HERE whose beautiful pieces you can see in my look.   Being half Russian and half Ukrainian from a very young age I was surrounded by floral Russian shawls. My grandmother used to wear them all the time – it served as a hat in winter and was used as a scarf around her neck and shoulders when the weather was warmer  – isn’t it just a perfect multi-seasonal accessory? Russian scarves have gradually gained their momentum, re-inventing themselves as a statement accessory favoured by fashionistas in Russia and abroad
There are lots of different ways to wear this famed colourful piece so today I decided to pay tribute to my roots wearing it on my head as it was a bit windy. Not only you keep your hair in place but also feel incredibly comfortable and warm ( not to mention a unique ” exotic” edge which the scarf easily adds).
I fell in love with this coat as soon as I saw in on Elite99 website . This stunning rock chick style coat with PU leather sleeves makes a slick statement and I can’t wait to wear in spring!
My Lulu Guinness Verity cross body bag is making a debut in this post ( it was a Christmas present from my hubby).  The bag has a very unique design and is crafted from magenta patent leather and boasts a gold chain and leather strap. With a fold over style and a gold logo emblem to the front, the bag also features a lipstick charm to the side. You can use this beauty both by day and as a clutch by night. Jumper that I’m wearing was sold out in minutes for an obvious reason – it is a part of one of the most exciting collaborations in 2014 – Lulu Guinness with Uniqlo.
