My Russian Scarf Affair

Hello my lovely readers! Today I want to blog about my new must have accessory for this Autumn/Winter – “the” scarf! This is not just a scarf but an original Russian shawl! From my previous blog posts you may already know that I am half-Russian and half-Ukrainian and from a very early age was obsessed with floral Russian shawls which through the years developed in my eternal love for traditional Russian accessories. So when online shop My Scarf Affair contacted me with a request to feature one of their gorgeous scarfs of course I said yes! There are lots of different ways to wear this famed colourful piece, I decided to wear it over my coat to add a bit of glamour to my look. The scarf itself is made of 100% natural wool so it will definitely keep me warm during cold Manchester winter . Russian scarves have gradually gained their momentum, re-inventing themselves as a statement accessory favoured by fashionistas in Russia and abroad. I personably think it’s an irreplaceable item in the wardrobe of all stylish and glamorous chicks out there. Ranging in colours, prints and sizes, traditional Russian scarves offer numerous possibilities of wear, and it is probably one of the reasons – on par with their rich history and associations with cosiness and long forgotten past – why they are bound to retain their place as a stylish and timeless accessory. To my look I added my new Bell Thigh High Boots by Topshop HERE , these are the trendiest boots this season and they are super versatile!
