You all probably noticed already this trend has recently been taking over our Instagram feeds, it was all over AW16 catwalks and has been seen on loads of celebs, but does fish net tights really add that “wow” factor or just totally spoil your look? Well, opinions divided in the world of fashion, while some declare war on these “tarty” accessory and even suffer from ‘fishnetophobia’ ( like, for instance, fashion editor of Mirror newspaper) others absolutely prey this trend. According to Vogue , “The appeal of the fishnet has to do with its vast potential. It adds edge to a bohemian dress or a slip—seen on Vera van Erp and Eleonora Carisi—and can turn a punchy Moschino T-shirt dress into a bold fashion proposition”
My thoughts ? I’m very tired of seeing skinny and mom jeans everywhere so fishnet tights to me is some sort of courageous solution for “glamming up the turned-up denims”.
