In my today’s post I want to talk about the colour palette that suits me which I hope will be a useful guide to some of my readers.
When I’m choosing what outfits to buy I prefer to pick more natural colours, like white, blue, grey, black. From time to time I would pop into Zara and get some flamboyant dresses but it only happens when I’m having “fashion mood swings”. It’s not that I’m afraid of colourful clothing, it’s just bright coloured items are way harder to mix together, plus I love accessories and by the time I layer my neck with necklaces and wear all my bracelets I will look a bit overdresses. And now I try to avoid that “overdone” look .
Recently I’ve been experimenting and wearing pink or red shirt with straight Tophsop jeans and lots of jewellery or polka dots top and denim shorts and I was really happy with my looks.
The most important thing is to make sure that your basic wardrobe is not lacking any key items like white tees, white dresses, denim skirts, jeans and jackets which will be your foundation for successful material mixing. You can combine leather, denim and knitwear all in one outfit and this will make it stand out and much more exciting. But if you still think you don’t look eccentric enough you can add colourful bags, scarfs and shoes.
