Where did 2018 go? My blogging work has been keeping me so busy this year so it was only last week when I realised that it’s already December and I need to get all my Christmas decorations from the attic. Maybe it’s because we are still having this mild weather in the UK and I don’t feel that festive spirit yet. But my mood quickly changed when I arrived at World Duty Free Biza store in Terminal 1 at Manchester Airport being one of the lucky bloggers to be invited by Duty Free Beauty team to get my Christmas presents sorted.
What can be better then shopping all the brands you need in one place with very welcoming atmosphere and friendly stuff? You can get your must have products while waiting for your departure or pre – order all your last minute presents at World Duty Free via Reserve and Collect service and then collect and pay for your items just before you fly, absolutely genius idea! Not only it’s stress free shopping but you can also get more for your money at Biza stores while skipping the hassle of the high street.
Now let’s move to the most exciting part – products. For all unique scent lovers I would definitely advise checking out Maison Margiela counter where you can get the brand’s latest Replica Eau de Parfum/Eau de Toilette collection. My favourite scents are “Flying “ (save £25) “Beach Walk” and “Jazz Club” (save £19)
For those whose life passion is make up visiting Clinique & Mac counters is a must. I always get over the top service there. This time I purchased Line Smoothing Concealer by Clinique (just £15 (RRP £18.50) which I seriously don’t understand how I could live without before. It minimizes the look of lines & wrinkles and brightens the eye area making your face look impeccable. It’s quite light in formula but still gives full coverage and hides redness and my acne scars.
My next stop was Mac counter as I know products by this brand work perfectly with my skin. I needed a new eyes shadow pallet which I could take away with me when traveling and I found very pretty pigmented eye shadows at Mac called ” Burgundy times nine” – nine stunning colours which I can wear all year round! For that bronzed look I went with Matte Bronzing powder, also getting Peach twist blush for definition and liquid matte lipstick in “Back in Vogue”
Apart from beauty products you can also buy jewellery & accessories from well known brands like Ted Baker, Buckley London & Swarovski. This is where I headed next and purchased beautiful Evil Eye necklace and a bracelet from Swarovski . These pieces will always remind me of the fabulous time I had while shopping at Biza Duty Free at Manchester Terminal 1.
