Fashionable Layering

Wow what a fantastic chilly weather we are having here in Manchester, it snowed today and the weatherman told us there’s more to come, how exiting 🙂 I will try and take lots of OOTD pics for you (with lots of snow hopefully). Today I’m blogging about my relaxed weekend look that I created with bj jeans from Zara, oversized coat from Zara’s last season collection, stylish tee from a Ukrainian designer ( born in the same town as me – Odessa!) whose quirky urban/street style has recently been drawing attention of many NY hip hop stars ( Russell Karablin http://www.ssur.com/ ) I fell in love with this t-shirt’s slogan straight away, it says in Russian “НЕ БЛАТУЙ “translating as “Don’t get cocky”, which together with an angry woman’s face from a famous 1920’s soviet propaganda poster makes this little gem truly ” Sovietski” – minimal, aggressive and, of course, cool 🙂

Mini bags made a statement last season and they are here to stay, they tick al the boxes of a perfect bag- practicality, comfort, sexyness and glamour whether it’s a new Mini Peecabo by Fendi, a Mini Tote Lux by Prada or my favourite Alma BB Vernis Monogram  Louis Vuitton, despite its “mini” size it easily holds my keys, wallet, smartphone, lipstick and even my hybrid Lumix G1 camera ( let alone its stunning design ). With a strap that adjusts the bag to waist or hip height, the Alma BB can be worn across the body for hands-free ease, I can’t but love using this bag on the weekends as it looks great with any outfit in any weather!

I wish you all a fabulous week ahead and promise to post a couple more looks for you later this week
