In my today’s blog post I want to talk about recent Cambridge Satchel Company collaboration. This limited edition of satchels features Vivienne Westwood signature squiggle print inspired by the original 1981 Pirate collection. I always wanted to own a piece from this famous British brand that despite its very young age (originated in 2008 in Cambridge) has now been sold in 86 countries worldwide. So when I heard about the collaboration with Vivienne I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this bag. As mini/micro bags are so in this season this mini satchel with iconic Vivienne Westwood pattern was just a perfect addition to my bag collection.
The fact that each bag is hand made in the UK using locally sourced leather which is screen printed by a British printer in London and “finished” in the factory in Leicester makes these satchels truly unique and 100% British which not that many UK brands can be proud of.
This collaboration is quite one of a kind so I’m so glad I managed to get myself this mini masterpiece which I am sure will be featured a lot in my new looks this year . X
